I'll stamp all over 'serious fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

Briton Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.

Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami arena on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.

Paul rather criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.

He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Success

Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.

Size Difference

As both boxers engaged in the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really going ahead.
